Coming Home to Ourselves

Inner Child Healing Through Traditional Rebozo, Plantitas & Cantos/Traditional Songs

$550

This series invites us to reconnect with the younger parts of ourselves through tenderness, memory, joy, grief, intuition, and belonging. We will explore how trauma, susto, los aires, disconnection, and survival can shape our relationship to safety, trust, and receiving care, while making space to listen to what the body and spirit have carried.

Traditional rebozo will be a central thread throughout the series. Beyond pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care, the rebozo has also been used for carrying, warmth, protection, everyday support, tending the body, and connection across generations. Participants will begin by receiving and observing rebozo practices that support grounding, rest, containment, and reconnection in relation to trauma, susto, and experiences of disconnection.

This series is centered on our own healing, it is not a practitioner training. Later in the series, participants may take part in selected guided partner practices, with an emphasis on consent, communication, pacing, boundaries, and choice, to support our own healing process and may also offer gentle ways of sharing care with trusted friends and family.

Through plantitas, rebozo, cantos, prayer, plática, and ritual, we will explore grounding, cleansing, grief, boundaries, reconnection, joy, and calling ourselves back home. At the heart of this series is healing in community—learning to listen inward, receive care, witness one another, and allow the earth, the threads, and collective presence to hold us.
